Sandeep Bagla, MD
Dr. Bagla received his medical degree from St. Georges University School of Medicine in 2002. He completed an internship in Internal Medicine at University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey and a Diagnostic Radiology residency at Albany Medical Center, where he served as chief resident. Following a subspecialty fellowship in Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology at Inova Alexandria Hospital, Dr. Bagla joined Association of Alexandria Radiologists, PC, in 2008.
He an active staff member at Inova Alexandria Hospital, Inova Mount Vernon Hospital and Potomac Hospital.
Dr. Bagla is a member of the Society of Interventional Radiology, the Society of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance, and the Radiologic Society of North America (RSNA).

James M. Cooper, MD 
Dr. Cooper received his medical degree from Cornell University
Medical College. He completed a Transitional internship at St. Vincent’s
Medical Center. His residency in Diagnostic Radiology was completed
at Cornell University Medical College, North Shore University Hospital.
He completed a fellowship in Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology
at New York University Medical Center. He joined Association of Alexandria
Radiologists, PC in 1998 and is an active staff member at Inova Alexandria
Hospital, Inova Mount Vernon Hospital and
Potomac Hospital.
Dr. Cooper has served as Fellowship Program Director
of Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology at Inova Alexandria
Hospital since 2004. He is a member of the Society of Interventional
Radiology and the Association of Program Directors in interventional
radiology. He maintains an appointment as an Associate Professor at
The George Washington University in the Department of Radiology. He
served as Principal Investigator for a multi-center research protocol
on “Initial Treatment of Acute
Symptomatic Pulmonary Embolus”. He is a Certified Diplomat of
the American Board of Radiology and the National Board of Medical Examiners.
He received his Certificate of Added Qualification in Vascular and
Interventional Radiology from the American Board of Radiology in 1995.

Dimitrios Papadouris, MD
Dr. Papadouris received his medical degree from University
of Western Ontario. He completed a rotating internship and residency
in Radiology at the University of British Columbia. His fellowship
in Interventional Radiology was completed at the Washington University
School of Medicine, Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology in St Louis,
MO. He joined Association of Alexandria Radiologists, PC in 2006 and
is an active staff member at Inova Alexandria Hospital, Inova Mount
Vernon Hospital and Potomac Hospital.
Dr. Papadouris is a member of the Society of Interventional Radiology,
the American College of Radiology, the Radiological Society of North
America and the American Medical Association. He received his Certificate of Added Qualification
in Vascular and Interventional Radiology from the American Board of
Radiology in 2006.

Kenneth S. Rholl, MD
Dr. Rholl received his medical degree from the University
of Minnesota Medical School. His residency in Diagnostic Radiology
was completed at Washington University School of Medicine, Mallinckrodt
Institute of Radiology in St Louis, MO where he was co-chief resident
and completed a mini-fellowship in Abdominal Imaging. He completed
a fellowship in Interventional Radiology at Inova Alexandria Hospital.
He joined Association of Alexandria Radiologists, PC in 1986 and is
an active staff member at Inova Alexandria Hospital, Inova Mount Vernon Hospital and Potomac Hospital.
Dr. Rholl has served as Director of Noninvasive Vascular Laboratory
at Inova Alexandria Hospital since 1988 and Chief of the Department
of Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology at Potomac Hospital
since 1989. He maintains an appointment as an Associate Professor at
The George Washington University in the Department of Radiology. He
has served as President of AAR, President of the Chesapeake Interventional
Radiology Society and President of the Intersocietal Commission for
the Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories. He is an Associate Editor
for the Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology.
He is a Certified Diplomat of the American Board of Radiology and
the National Board of Medical Examiners. He received his Certificate
of Added Qualification in Vascular and Interventional Radiology from
the American Board of Radiology in 1995. Dr. Rholl is the 2007 co-winner of Inova Alexandria Hospital’s Alan Deutsch, M.D. Memorial Award for physician excellence and commitment to quality care. He was recognized
by Washingtonian as a "Top Doctor” in the magazine's two most recent rankings.

Keith M. Sterling, MD
Dr.
Sterling received his medical degree from New York Medical
College in Valhalla, NY in 1989. He completed an internship in Internal
Medicine through Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.
His residency in Diagnostic Radiology was completed at Mount Sinai
Medical Center where he also served as Chief Resident. He completed
a fellowship in Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology at the
Washington University School of Medicine, Mallinckrodt Institute of
Radiology in St Louis, MO. He joined Association of Alexandria Radiologists,
PC in 1995 and is an active staff member at Inova Alexandria Hospital,
Inova Mount Vernon Hospital and Potomac Hospital.
Dr.
Sterling serves as Chief of the Department of Cardiovascular and
Interventional Radiology and Director of Research at Inova Alexandria
Hospital. He is President of the Chesapeake Interventional Radiology
Society and a member of the Society of Interventional Radiology where
he serves as a national spokesperson. He is a member of the Board of
Directors of the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular
Laboratories (ICAVL). He maintains an appointment as an Associate Professor
at The George Washington University in the Department of Radiology.
He serves as a reviewer for the Journal of Vascular and Interventional
Radiology, CardioVascular and Interventional Radiology, and Journal
of the American College of Cardiology. He was Principal Investigator
in the “Uterine Artery Embolization Fibroid Registry Outcomes
Database” for the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology
Research and Education Foundation (CIRREF).e
is a Certified Diplomat of the American Board of Radiology and the

Arina van Breda, MD
Dr. van Breda received her medical degree from Boston University
School of Medicine. Her internship in Medicine and residency
in Diagnostic Radiology were completed at the George Washington University
Hospital where she also served as Chief Resident for the Department
of Radiology. She completed fellowships in Vascular Radiology and Cardiac
Radiology at Massachusetts General Hospital. She joined Association
of Alexandria Radiologists, PC in 1983 and is an active staff member
at Inova Alexandria Hospital, Inova Mount
Vernon Hospital and Potomac Hospital.
Dr. van Breda serves as Chief of the Department of Cardiovascular and
Interventional Radiology at Inova Mount Vernon Hospital. She maintains an appointment
as a Clinical Professor of Radiology at The George Washington University
and the Medical College of Virginia. She was recognized in the 2005 “Top
Doctors” edition of
Washingtonian magazine. She has served on numerous committees and is a member of the Radiologic Society of North America and the Society of Interventional Radiology, where she served as its first female President from 1992 to 1993.
She has given many scientific presentations throughout the world on a broad range of topics. She received her Certificate of Added Qualification
in Vascular and Interventional Radiology from the American Board of
